I have always had a passion for bringing joy to others around me. What better way to do that than creating the perfect party atmosphere for your special occasion pair that with some delicious desserts and you have JOY.
I grew up elbow deep in powder sugar and flour in the kitchen while my grandmother was baking.
There was always some kind of party or event we were planning or preparing for.
We always had a house full of people and delicious food all around us. I couldn’t imagine growing up any other way.
I studied baking and pastry arts at Johnson & Wales University. Shortly after college I moved back home to Pennsylvania and started my own bakery called 'A Girl With a Cupcake'. Five years later I relocated to Nashville, TN and launched my dream job, 'A girl with a Party'.
